Retesting

  • A 30-day waiting period if required in order to retake test if applicant has failed test report without a signed statement.
  • ADX: A 30-day wait to retake test is not required of applicant, if applicant presents a statement signed by an airman holding a certificate and rating. Provided the airman has given additional instructions in each of the failed subjects, and feels the applicant is ready for retesting.
  • FNX: A 30-day waiting period is not required if the applicant can present a signed statement from a certified ground instructor, flight navigator, or any other person approved by the FAA Administrator. Only if the person/persons consider the applicant ready.
  • Applicants retaking Test after failure must submit score report. The original failed test report kept by the proctor and attached to the signing in/out log.
